Sophie Smallwood is the co-founder and co-CEO of Roleshare.com: Building the world’s best shared skills platform to enable a sustainable, diverse, and happy workforce. Matching professionals looking for part-time work together for full-time roles, and helping businesses find untapped talent for their roles and reduce turnover.
Prior to Roleshare, Sophie worked for Facebook and Ebay. She has over 16 years of direct experience in advertising, ecommerce PaaS (Platform as a service) and workplace SaaS (Software as a service) across the US, Europe and the Middle East.
Sophie received a BA with honours in Communications with an advertising emphasis from San Diego State University.
Today we spoke about the great resignation and about the myths why some people think that management positions cannot be role shared. We talked about the pandemic and how as a silver lining it could lead to more professionals interested in and able to do flexible work including job sharing.
Last but certainly not least, Sophie shared some of the recent publications such as the WEF white paper that they have been quoted in with Roleshare.
