Jobsharing And Beyond

Feb 28, 2022

Katharina Miller’s career started with a degree in event management. After working internationally in event management for several years Katharina held expert and leadership positions in communications, product management, various aspects of marketing and sustainability. Her work covered a large variety of industries from medical technology, service and tourism to metal and chemistry.

As a mother of three, sustainability is not only a business buzzword for her but also a way of life. Her interest in social advocacy topics led to the idea of a jobsharing matching platform in March 2020, with the goal of enabling part-time careers and establishing jobsharing as the perfect solution.

Sigrid Uray-Esterer is a mom of two. After her business administration degree she was a hotel merchant apprentice and gained international experience during many years in the gastronomy industry. For the past 13 years she has worked in various functions in the FMCG industry in Vienna, Austria.

Sigrid started her blog “Mamawahrheiten” (truths from moms) for working mothers in early 2020, focusing especially on part-time careers. She also hosted the podcast “Der große Teilzeitkarrieretalk” (the great part time career talk) for a year. Since the middle of 2021 she has been the co-founder of the jobsharing platform JobTwins together with Katharina working on building and expanding the platform. Sigrid sees herself as a life-long learner and enjoys networking.
