Welcome to the #ItsPossible Canada Career Month Series!
With this year's theme, I have created a series of 10
conversations to talk about aspects of one's career that are beyond
the typical job search.
I am very appreciative to welcome as my third guest Tracy
Oyekanmi.
In 10 years, Tracy has worked at the intersection of product
marketing and internal Communications management on campaign
budgets between $50,000- $4million for some of the world's best
brands such as Apple, Mercedes Benz, United Arab Emirates Airlines,
TetraPak, Chevron to mention a few and led teams of 2-400 people as
well as discerning leaders in their personal portfolio.
As a career visibility coach and communications consultant, she
trains highly skilled foreign professionals (expats, immigrants,
newcomers) to be star players for executive opportunities in their
new country and is the podcast host of "Visible at Work".
In my conversation with Tracy we spoke about her insights and
experience of having worked in multiple countries and being a
parent. She shared what transferable skills can be gained from
these events in someone's life and what she advices her clients in
these situations.
