Welcome to the #ItsPossible Canada Career Month Series!
With this year's theme, I have created a series of 10
conversations to talk about aspects of one's career that are beyond
the typical job search.
I am very appreciative to welcome as my second guest Michael Ray. Michael is Solo Dad, Author of "Who Knew?", Public Speaker, Blogger, Master of Ceremonies and Advocate for Equality and Change.
In my conversation with Michael we spoke about his career and what it has been like compared to what he anticipated it to be when he was a young professional.
We spoke about him becoming a dad later in life, becoming a solo dad and why it is so important to actively parent as a dad and how this will lead to more gender equality.
This was such a heartfelt episode for anyone and especially helpful for anyone who is at an early stage in their career!
Michael created the great #ItsPossible statement:
It's possible to completely change once you're prepared
to forget about what others think of you!
